Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how CaliLean processes and ships orders placed through our website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. Order processing

Orders are usually processed within 1 to 2 business days after payment is confirmed. Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

Processing time is separate from shipping time. During high-volume periods, product launches, holidays, carrier delays, supply delays, or compliance review, processing may take longer.

We may hold, review, limit, or cancel an order before shipment if we identify payment issues, address issues, fraud concerns, compliance concerns, or a possible violation of our Terms.

2. Shipping methods and delivery estimates

Available shipping methods are shown at checkout. Delivery estimates may vary based on carrier performance, destination, service availability, weather, holidays, operational issues, and other factors outside our control.

Typical domestic transit estimates may include:

  • Standard shipping: 2 to 5 business days.
  • Expedited shipping: 1 to 3 business days, where available.
  • Overnight shipping: 1 business day, where available.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Carrier delays do not automatically qualify an order for cancellation, refund, replacement, or reshipment.

3. Shipping rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Rates may depend on package weight, package size, shipping method, destination, carrier availability, and any active shipping promotions.

Shipping costs are shown before checkout is completed.

4. Shipping tools and carriers

CaliLean may use third-party shipping tools, including ShipStation, to generate labels, manage shipments, send tracking information, and coordinate order fulfillment.

Shipping may be handled by third-party carriers. Carrier availability and delivery options may vary by location.

5. Address accuracy

You are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Address changes are not guaranteed after an order is placed. If you contact us quickly, we will try to update the address before shipment, but we cannot guarantee changes once processing has started or a label has been created.

If a package is delayed, returned, lost, or undeliverable because of an incorrect, incomplete, inaccessible, or outdated address, you may be responsible for reshipping costs or other related fees.

6. Tracking

When your order ships, you should receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information.

Tracking updates may take 24 to 48 hours to appear after a label is created. A shipping label may be created before the carrier has scanned the package.

7. Signature and age verification

CaliLean may require signature confirmation, adult signature, age verification, delivery to the billing address, or other delivery controls for certain orders.

These requirements may apply based on order value, first-time purchase status, fraud screening, compliance review, shipping destination, carrier rules, or other risk factors.

If a signature, adult signature, pickup, or age verification is required, the carrier may request government-issued identification or another form of delivery confirmation before releasing the package.

If delivery cannot be completed because no eligible person is available, age verification cannot be completed, access is unavailable, or the carrier requires pickup, you are responsible for coordinating redelivery or pickup with the carrier.

Failure to complete a required signature, age verification, pickup, or delivery step does not automatically qualify an order for cancellation, refund, replacement, or reshipment.

8. Delivered but missing packages

If tracking shows that your order was delivered but you cannot locate the package, please check:

  • Porches, side doors, mailrooms, parcel lockers, and reception areas.
  • Neighbors, household members, building staff, or front desk staff.
  • The carrier’s tracking page for delivery notes.

Once a carrier confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout, CaliLean is not responsible for stolen, misplaced, or missing packages. At our discretion, we may help provide information needed for a carrier claim.

9. Lost packages and carrier delays

If your tracking has not updated for an extended period, contact us at hello@calilean.com with your order number and tracking number.

We may help review the shipment status or assist with a carrier investigation where available. Carrier delays do not automatically qualify an order for a refund, replacement, or reshipment.

10. Damaged packages

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within seven (7) days of delivery at hello@calilean.com.

Please include your order number and clear photos of:

  • The outer shipping box.
  • The shipping label.
  • The internal packaging.
  • The item or items received.
  • Any visible damage, leakage, tampering, or delivery issue.

We may be unable to assist without proper documentation. If approved, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.

11. Shipping restrictions

We ship only to accepted addresses within the United States. We may restrict shipping to certain locations, addresses, jurisdictions, carriers, or delivery methods based on legal, carrier, payment, fraud, compliance, or risk considerations.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if we cannot ship to the address provided or if the order cannot meet required delivery, signature, age-verification, or compliance requirements.

12. Research use only

CaliLean products are sold strictly for in-vitro research and laboratory use only.

Products are not for human or animal consumption. They are not drugs, supplements, food, cosmetics, medical products, or consumer health products.

Shipping communications and customer support will not provide guidance, instructions, dosing information, administration guidance, or recommendations for human use, animal use, personal use, therapeutic use, cosmetic use, or any other prohibited use.
